Help for FREQ by SyphonGames
Email support@syphondigital.online. It helps to include your phone model, your Android version and, if you play online, your friend code. To report a player, include their alias and city. We read everything, usually within a few days.
Stay aware of your surroundings, only visit public places, and stop walking before you play.
FREQ needs a fresh, accurate location fix before it shows signals near you. Try these in order:
FREQ only uses location while the game is open; it pauses when you leave the app. Walking reveals new signals as you go, and standing still brings a new one only every few minutes.
FREQ is free, and ads are optional. The only ad is a Pirate broadcast: a short rewarded video you choose to watch. You pick the reward first, then decide whether to watch, and you only get the reward if the video plays to the end. There are at most three a day, at least five minutes apart. You never have to watch one, and the same gear can be earned through play.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob and are only offered if you choose 18 or older as your age range in the game's privacy settings. Where the law requires it, Google's consent message asks for your choices first, and you can change them later from the game's privacy options. Nothing in FREQ is sold for real money. More in the privacy policy.
In the app: Network → Friends → Delete online profile. If you no longer have the app, email us with your friend code (or your player name and city) and we'll delete your online profile within 30 days. Full details: Delete your FREQ account.
Your collection and progress are saved on your phone. If Android's device backup is turned on, restoring that backup onto your new phone may bring your progress across. We can't restore progress from our servers, so please don't clear FREQ's data or uninstall it if you want to keep your collection.
See section 2 of the terms.
FREQ is coming soon to Google Play, for Android. It goes to a closed test first, then out to everyone.
